New Alan Wake trailer coming 15. of October

Just a few minutes ago a Finnish Pelaaja-magazine announced at their website that a brand new Alan Wake trailer will be shown in Finland at Finnkino movie theater on 15. of October. For those who want to read the statement(in Finnish) go here:

At last!!! Unfortunately it's illegal to shoot a video in the movie theaters. Well I guess that it won't forestall everybody... Hopefully Remedy also publishes trailer soon in the net.

It would be really cool if Remedy somehow works out a deal with 20th Century Fox to play this Alan Wake trailer in the previews before Max Payne.

Wishful thinking, but I'm just hoping we get to see this trailer.

But I don't think Remedy is like Square Enix where they hold private events and not show their trailers to fans.

I'm really hoping that on Oct. 16th, or 17th, a nice brand new trailer greets me at the home page of alanwake.com.

I think most of what was said the in article has been covered here, but here's a translation of the article anyway:

It's our great pleasure (we're on fire, really) to announce that, after two years of silence, Alan Wake is going to be showcased by Remedy in the form of a new trailer.

The trailer can be seen during the premiere weekend of the film Max Payne in Finnkino theaters across Finland. While Max Payne's official premiere is on October 17th, the trailer will be shown in an advance screening of the film no later than on the 15th of October.

The trailer will include brand new gameplay footage of the long-awaited, Microsoft-published Xbox 360 title.

I know I'm not a Remedy Staff member but I can confirm this story. Plus Pelaaja (more specifically Thomas Puha) have good relations with Remedy and are quite trustworthy.

Hey ADM, just thought I would let you know that your famous again. This was on CVG's website earlier today:

"The Forum Tech Director on Alan Wake's official forums has since backed up the news, posting: "I'm not a Remedy Staff member but I can confirm this story."

And people thought that Alan Wake would lose its appeal because we havent heard from Remedy for a while, its all over the internet again and people who hadnt heard of the game now seem pretty hyped.

Seriously though, as I have already said the news of a new trailer is on just about every gaming site out there; MS are you listening and watching, the people want Alan Wake and are ready to buy into the game on mass, dont treat it like Too Human (dropped like a hot potatoe), promote and market it properly and you will have a massive hit on your hands.
