The point is..i can make a blog/site in 10 mins write "alan wake is confirmed for April 15th". I could write whatever i want. None of the above links or google search has a reference WHO confirmed it and where. So its just blah blah.

This was "confirmed" by retail stores, that was his source and we've always said that retail stores aren't a great source of info for release times. As I said there on that site it's still 'when it's done'. If you don't see it here (we'll have it in big bold letters) and brightfalls.net (most likely in the FAQ there) then it's simply not true.

I hate it when people do this, going and posting an unconfirmed statement which then flies around the internet and soon dozens of sites are just reporting off the same bogus claim.

I was impressed to see some of our forumers trying to sort out the statement on his site. Nice work, guys

They're probably just guessing that new media must come soon, since the internet is buzzing with news again.
